During the course of the project, teachers and students took part in workshops and strategic visits, seeking integration, cultural exchange and the definition of guiding objectives.
Workshop Neuburg 2024
SustainED’s first workshop took place at the Sustainability Research and Transfer Centre Neuburg at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany in August 2024. The visit was attended by individuals from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (Federal University of Paraná – UFPR), Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná – PUCPR) focussing on the development of training and educational material on sustainability in the areas of management and engineering.
Workshop Curitiba 2024
In September, the SustainED team from the collaborating universities met at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, in Curitiba, at HOTMILK – PUCPR’s Innovation Ecosystem. During the meeting, the ‘curriculum structure’ and content of the courses still under development were defined. The appointment also included a presentation by the students involved in the project, as well as a technical visit to the O Boticário company complex, exploring aspects of production, logistics and sustainable practices.
