SustainED

The SustainED project is a cooperation initiative between the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR, Curitiba) and the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI – Germany, Neuburg an der Donau Campus).

Its general aim is to develop training and improvement activities on the subject of sustainability for students of engineering, administration and other technology courses. The activities planned for the period from September 2024 to December 2027 include extension courses, optional subjects and applied research projects.

The goal is to integrate knowledge of sustainability at all levels into teaching, research and university management in the long term, and to equip students from the four institutions involved, as well as researchers and university technical-administrative staff with the necessary basic understanding of sustainability, raising awareness and educating through continuous training.
